A quick update from Carbonetic USA, here are a few images of our latest sponsored vehicle, the FR-S as its known in the US or the GT86 as its known everywhere else.

It seems that most of the JDM vehicles this year where the GT86/FR-S with reports that the US has the most advanced modifications for this car at the moment.

This vehicle is running our Carbonetic 1.5 way Carbon LSD, expect the Carbonetic Blade to be ready for this vehicle next year!

For those of you who remember the outrageous Mazda RX7 FD3S from Finland, also known as the Mazuni. Will recall it was already a pretty impressive machine, with its crazy SR16VET and aero kit, well now things have stepped up even further.

Details are still pretty limited on the car but its owner and builder are Valtonen Motorsport and is supported by our Carbonetic dealer SpeedImports. The car is now featuring full carbon body work and aero, some very trick suspension and of course that 600+ (on low boost) SR16VET.

The car is built for one thing, going around a track very fast. On its first track test outing , it was hitting the same lap times as the unlimited class cars. On that day the track temps were  only +5c!

The Mazuni is also using our products. It features the Carbonetic Triple plate clutch, the Carbon LSD and our R Spec brake pads!

Hopefully in the next few months we will have more to report, but in the mean time enjoy the pics!

From the USA is a feature in next months November issue of DSport magazine, featuring a Supercharged G35 running 365WHP!

The G35 is using a Carbonetic Pro-Blade which is capable of holding 500BHP! And this is what was said about the Clutch:

“we replaced the factory clutch with a Carbonetic Pro-Blade clutch and flywheel kit. The Carbonetic unit consists of a small-diameter pressure plate and clutch disc combination that quickens shifts while still
providing adequate torque capacity. The included flywheel maintains the factory diameter to ensure proper starter gear connection but is also lightened to reduce rotating mass in the clutch system. providing adequate torque capacity. Carbonetic is proud to sponsor Irelands Danielle Murphy one of very few female Drift competitors in Europe, with Pro level status. Competing throughout Europe and further afield with the Drift Allstars Championship which is well renowned for its Elite driver status, along with Ireland’s Prodrift Championship, and Britains The British Drift Championship.

Running an S14A using a stroked SR20DET with close to 500BHP, this S14 managed to get through a lot of clutches and transmission parts. But now its using the new Carbonetc Blade clutch kit DCBF501 for the SR20DET, this is a full kit comprising of the flywheel, Carbon Blade disc and our HD cover. Due to the nature of the Carbon clutch, it is able to absorb a lot of shock due to the way carbon reacts when its hot. Drivers find there is far less risk to transmission components compared to conventional metal sintered clutches.

The Carbonetic Blade clutch has been out in Europe for a few weeks now and its starting to become extremely popular with the Mitsubishi Evo’s owners. The clutch offers an excellent upgrade for anyone wanting to push over 450BHP at the flywheel, while retaining that OEM feel and ease of use for day to day driving. The other great attribute about the Blsade clutch is it not only out performs metal and organic clutches its priced the same.
